reference to the language of

addressed to me from the chair,

the 7th February, and to the tone and manner in which that censure, as

well as

subsequent rulings

points of order, were conveyed, to pro- test against a similar bearing,

the part of His Excellency towards members of the bouncil in future, and to move, if necessary,

if necessary, the following resolution, viz. "That language of "cinsure applied by the chair to "members of this bouncil, for nors, in point of order, committed by "inadvertence, is a breach of the privi leges of the bouncil, and caluslaked "to compromise the good order and " character of its procedings."
